Interviews

After I got a solid idea of what my app is going to be, I wanted to speak to my target audience; I always do this before I start designing and developing because I want to get further insight into what they would expect, what they need and what they want in an app. If it doesn’t meet their needs or solve an issue, what’s the point of it and why would they download it. The interviews were open, there were no questions and I was not leading the conversation either. I explained my idea and what the app would have, and gave them the rest of the time to tell me their opinions. I then relayed those thoughts as I went through more people to understand if they are common needs and problems within the audience. After interviewing over a dozen people, I used the feedback to add new functionalities and features to the app, and those that I cannot develop at the moment are documented for scalability.
